IV Therapies

We may take all the right actions to maintain good health, eat the right foods, exercise regularly, get adequate rest, have a positive attitude, and yet because we live in an environment that is constantly subjecting us to toxins and pollution, there may come a time when we may need to take extra action to help our body overcome or prevent a disease. At Pinewood our focus is on disease prevention to allow you to enjoy an active, healthy life. For many years, we have used Infusion (IV) Therapy to introduce vitamins and nutrients directly into the bloodstream. Infusion (IV) Therapy allows the nutrients to bypass the digestive system and offer a much higher level of nutrition directly to your cells where healing can begin immediately.

We offer several standard Infusion (IV) Therapies, all of which may be customized depending on your unique needs.

Myer's Cocktail
The Myer's Cocktail infusion has been a popular intravenous therapy for decades. It is a well-known vitamin-and-mineral formula that enhances immune function, adrenal support, increases energy, and improves overall health. Myer's Cocktail infusion is very effective in helping the body heal acute conditions, such as the flu or upper respiratory tract infections that it is struggling to overcome.

Neurological / Protein Rich IV
Amino acids are the fundamental building blocks of proteins, which can help provide structure and support for all tissue, especially the nervous system. This IV includes glutathione known to aid in conditions including Parkinson's Disease and Alzheimer's Disease.

Cancer IV
This treatment contains a high dose of vitamin C, in addition to other components. When given intravenously, high levels of vitamin C in the blood generate the production of hydrogen peroxide, a known toxin to cancer cells. IV treatments containing high dose vitamin C have been shown to prolong survival rates and improve quality of life for cancer patients. Treatments may be coordinated with conventional radiation or chemotherapy sessions.

Plaquex IV
The Plaquex® Formula was original developed to dissolve fatty embolus during and after trauma surgery. The formula has been in use for the past 55 years in 25% of countries worldwide. It was also used to treat liver disease. In the 1990's the formula's use changed and it is now used to treat plaque deposits with dramatic results.

Alkalizing / NaBic IV
This treatment is used to address many conditions that arise as a result of too much acid in the body fluids. High levels of acid mean that the body's systems are operating in a stressful environment, making it more susceptible to illness and disease.

Joint / Connective Tissue / Wound Healing IV
This treatment is effective for repairing and maintaining the strength and elasticity of connective tissue and joints. It is often used to address rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and musculoskeletal conditions.

Glutathione IV
Glutathione is often referred to as the master anti-oxidant, helping other anti-oxidants to work more effectively. It is often used when disease of the brain or liver is evident, to enhance memory, or as part of an anti-aging treatment to replace declining levels that are normal with aging.

Cardiovascular Disease IV
A cardio rich nutrient complex of vitamin C, Taurine, Carnitine, and B vitamins, will aid in all conditions of the cardiovascular system including hypertension and arrhythmia.

Basic Vitamin C
Basic Vitamin C IV treatments contain a high dose of Vitamin C and B Vitamins to boost immunity, assist healing, and reduce physical stressors. This is the ideal IV treatment to address prolonged colds or flu, upper respiratory illness, weakness due to ongoing stress, or any illness where immunity has been compromised. It is also recommended as an essential treatment immediately following amalgam (mercury & silver) filling removal.

Vitamin C Plus IV
The Vitamin C Plus IV is our Basic Vitamin C with the addition of other nutrients based on the individual patient's needs.
