| Dr. Sara-Jane White completed
a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) at the University of Western Ontario
in 1993. After deciding to focus on natural medicine, Dr. White
enrolled at the University of Toronto to complete the prerequisites
required for Naturopathic College. She graduated from the Canadian
College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2003 and is licensed to practice
as a Naturopathic Doctor in Ontario.
Since 2003, Dr. White has been specializing in treating children
and infants. Her interest in this area was spurred by her eldest
daughter who suffers from Rett Syndrome, a neurological disorder
in the Autism spectrum. She specializes in allergies, asthma,
eczema as well as the needs of exceptional children afflicted
with autism, Rett Syndrome, and the physically challenged. She
has attended conferences on these disorders throughout North America.
Dr. White has also spent time working on research projects investigating
pediatric neurodevelopmental conditions at The Centre for Addiction
and Mental Health and The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto.
Dr. White is a member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic
Doctors where she served on its Board of Directors. She is also
a member of the Canadian Naturopathic Association. She lives in
Scarborough with her husband and two daughters.
