Dr.
Sam Arrigo completed his undergraduate studies at York University in the
Bachelor of Arts program with a major in Philosophy from 1991 to 1993.
He also completed an additional two years of study in the Bachelor of
Science undergraduate program at Ryerson University with emphasis on Biochemistry
from 1999 to 2001. Concurrently, he was a personal fitness trainer from
1992 to 2005 during which he developed an adamant passion for natural
medicine and health education.
In June of 2000, he received his Doctor
of Acupuncture from the NEC Institute for Natural Healing which is recognized
and approved by the Open International University for Complementary Medicine
in Sri Lanka. Dr. Arrigo graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic
Medicine in 2006, receiving the diploma of Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine.
He is registered to practice in Ontario under the Board of Directors of
Drugless Therapy-Naturopathy and is a full member of the Ontario and Canadian
Associations of Naturopathic Doctors.
Dr.
Arrigo currently studies the practice of Biological Medicine comprising
the Naturopathic-approached medicines that are explained in more detail
throughout this website. In keeping with the philosophy of Pinewood, he
also employs Electrodermal Screening, Darkfield Microscopy, Biological
Terrain Assessment, Thermography, and other adjunctive diagnostic tools.
He has also received training and certification to perform the aforementioned
tests through their respective certifying organizations.
Dr. Arrigo is
trained and certified in Mesotherapy through the Pinewood Institute for
the Advancement of Natural Therapies. Another area of current study is
in Anti-Aging Medicine, in which he has become a certified member of the
European Masters in Aesthetic & Anti-Aging Medicine in October 2006.
Continuing education of the oldest and newest medicines is very important
to Dr. Arrigo. Travel to Europe, the Far East, and the United States,
to name a few, are integral and perennial destinations to enable Dr. Arrigo to bring back to his patients the medicines of the world. |
