Christianne James loves anything to do with people, health, and the body. Through her practice and personal life she has seen first-hand how physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, social, and financial stressors can cause ailments throughout the body that manifest themselves differently in each person. This is why Christianne practices patient-centered care that focuses on an individual's health needs and goals.
Christianne is a licensed Canadian Osteopath and Registered Massage Therapist. She is registered with the Ontario Federation of Osteopathic Practitioners and is registered with the Canadian Massage Therapists of Ontario. She is fully certified in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture which incorporates classical acupuncture and acupuncture with electro-stimulation.
Christianne graduated from Queen's University in Kingston Ontario and obtained two degrees including a Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences and an Honours Bachelor of Arts with Distinction Awards in Health Studies. She obtained her Osteopathic degree at the Osteopathic College of Ontario and her Registered Massage Therapist Diploma at the Canadian Therapeutic College where she graduated at the top of her class. She received the Academic Achievement of Excellence Award and was named Valedictorian. She also has a diploma in Sports Marketing and Event Planning with Honours at George Brown College.
Christianne is very active in her community, she tutors, volunteers and dances salsa on her spare time. She is also the President of the Board of Directors of Mindfulness Everyday and sits on the council for Queen's University Alumni Council. She has been a key note speaker at various schools for the Dove Self Esteem Workshops for Girls, a volunteer instructor for the Boys and Girls Club of Kingston, and runs her own workshops and events in the community on different topics of health.
