Petechial suction massage therapy consists of a series of half-hour sessions and involves slowly moving a hand-held suction probe over the skin of the area being treated, such as the back. This creates a partial vacuum in the tissue which causes the used up, toxin rich blood to be drawn to the surface to allow the immune system to detoxify. A roller electrode then applies a weak direct current voltage into the tissue which causes excess toxins to be expelled from the tissue.
