Dr.
Jaromir Bertlik was born in the Czech Republic, where he began his lifelong
work and interest in medicine. He obtained his Doctorate at the University
of Palacky faculty of medicine, located in Olomouc, Czech Republic. Before
immigrating to Canada in 1985, Dr. Bertlik was staff Physician at the
Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at the City Hospital of Teplice.
Since coming to Canada, Dr. Bertlik has worked as a Pathology Research
Assistant at Sunnybrook Medical Center. He published his work at the World
Pathological Congress in Amsterdam, Holland in 1987. He has also spent
years on the Neonatology research team at the Toronto Sick Children's
Hospital. There he devoted his medical interests toward the holistic-healing
spectrum, and in the late 1980s he graduated from the Ontario College
of Naturopathic Medicine, in Toronto, as a Doctor of Naturopathy and is
licensed to practice in Ontario.
He devotes much of his time to research and studies cancer, pain and chronic
problems, all of which dramatically impact our physical well-being. Also,
he is an expert in the fields of biological medicine, homotoxicology,
traditional Chinese medicine, and herbal medicine.
Dr. Bertlik is a faculty member at the Canadian College of Naturopathic
Medicine in Toronto. He is a also member of the Ontario Naturopathic Association
as well as member of the Canadian Naturopathic Association. He is a former
member of the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy - Naturopathy in
the Province of Ontario. He also assists the Czech-based Akuna Gardens of Health and Success in research,
technical knowledge, clinical results, analysis, and product development.
